The Rev. Terry Townsend has been pastoring the First Baptist
Church of Wellington since the early 80s.
Pastor Terry is known for his own unique brand of humor and
endless quips about how God is a University of Florida fan.
The sun is orange and the sky is blue, you know.
The pastor's wife, Sandy, is the pianist for our church.
The couple have three children and a dog named Wuerffel (named
after former UF quarterback Danny Wuerffel.)
The pastor has BA in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic
University and a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist
Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
