Worship services are held twice a week: Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Special services are also held for Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, Thanksgiving and New Year's. Corporate Prayer Gatherings are held Sundays at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday services get kicked off with a great blend of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian hits. Most Sundays, our Celebration Choir also performs something old or something new. Following the music, one of our fine pastors leads the congregation in Bible study. Studying both the Old Testament and the New Testament, there is always an important message about our walk with Christ. And of course there is always a time of invitation for new believers to come to accept Christ, or for current believers to step forward and join our church.
From time to time, our Sunday services do take on a different mode of operation. We have guest speakers, visiting musical groups, and in-house musical productions or plays.
Wednesday services are a little more informal. The music tends to be traditional hymns, but the Bible study is more of a group discussion. On Wednesdays, the congregation gets a great opportunity to share their prayer requests, discuss their thoughts and insights on the Bible, ask questions, and challenge one another all within the context of the Bible study.
So you're not worshiping on an empty stomach, a free breakfast gets underway at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays, followed by Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.
We wrap up Sunday evenings with a time of Corporate Prayer. This means our church comes together to pray as a large group, and also in small groups, on certain topics or about certain needs. The gathering begins at 7:00 p.m. each Sunday.
