| Is there something missing in your life? Do you have what
you need for your physical comfort, but you still don't feel
real joy in your life? God says that your joy does not come
from material possessions. God provides you with all the things
you need, even things that money can't buy!
"We are bringing you good news,
telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living
God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them.
He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops
in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and
fills your hearts with joy." Acts 14:15,17
True joy, the kind of joy that people can't take away from
you, comes from an abiding personal relationship with Jesus
Christ. Trusting Jesus brings joy to your life.
"May the God of hope fill you
with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may
overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Romans 15:13
Sometimes having faith in something you can't see is difficult
to imagine, but the joy that will be present in your life
as a result of placing your faith in Jesus is evidence of
the goal of your faith - the salvation of your soul.
"Though you have not seen Him,
you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you
believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious
joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation
of your souls." 1 Peter 1:8-9
Jesus wants you to feel true joy in your life. Follow
Jesus.
